Terms of Service

By using AJParse ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users: guests, free accounts, and paid subscribers.

AJParse is a personal finance tool that parses bank statement PDFs, categorizes transactions using AI, and exports the results to a spreadsheet. It is a productivity tool, not a financial advisor, bank, or broker. Nothing on this site constitutes financial, investment, legal, or tax advice.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You may not share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of third parties without authorization.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in abuse, or are inactive for an extended period.

You may use AJParse to parse and manage your own financial statements. You may not:

• Upload documents belonging to other people without their explicit consent
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the Service without written permission
• Upload malicious files intended to compromise the service or other users

Monthly plan. Billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds for partial months.

Founding Member plan. A limited-time discounted rate locked in for the lifetime of your active subscription. If you cancel, the founding rate is not guaranteed upon resubscribing; you would be charged the standard rate at that time.

Guest exports. One-time payments processed by Stripe. Non-refundable once the export has been generated and downloaded.

Price changes. We may change subscription prices with 30 days notice. Founding Member pricing is exempt from price increases as long as the subscription remains active and uninterrupted.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your uploaded documents and transaction data. By using the Service you agree to that policy as well.

AJParse and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by AJParse and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any financial documents you upload. By uploading, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your documents solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that parsed transaction data will be 100% accurate. AI categorization may occasionally misclassify transactions. You should review your exported data before relying on it for financial decisions.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AJParse shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of revenue, or financial decisions made based on data parsed by the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AJParse and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend access to the Service immediately, without notice, for conduct that we determine violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. All data associated with your account is permanently deleted per our Privacy Policy.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in the United States. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice on the site. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
